Our Services

Oil & Gas

Our specialized services for the Oil & Gas sector include directional drilling, re-entry slim hole, well maintenance, and production optimization. Our motors operate with compressed air, foam, or nitrogen without the need for liquids to cool and lubricate the motor components, a requirement for most PDMs. DADI motors are 9’ or less in length and ideal for short tower conventional rigs. They are also vibration-free. PDMs combined with air hammers can cause excessive vibration on downhole assemblies.

Excessive vibration also leads to the failure of the electrical components for many types of downhole measurement devices such as EM and GR tools. Our motors combined with air hammers have shown no adverse effects on EM or other directional tools. Rotation speed is designed for pneumatic hammer operation and is capped between 25 and 50 RPM. Consequently, no rapid and excessive runaway rotation can occur when the tool is lifted off bottom.

HDD - Horizontal Directional Drilling

Our moderate rotational torque, short length, and low weight on bit requirements make the DADI motors ideal for small HDD rigs, particularly in very hard rock drilling situations.

Our motors include either a fixed or adjustable bent sub for steering and use conventional air hammers with full-faced bits that eliminate the requirement for drill pipe oscillating or carving. We specialize in providing reliable and efficient drilling solutions tailored to your needs.

Our experienced team is committed to ensuring safe effective operations while delivering quality results.

Geothermal Wells

High Temperature Drilling Applications. Air hammers are particularly fast and efficient when drilling granitic and very hard metamorphic rocks.

These lithologies will likely be the targets for the bulk of the geothermal opportunities.

Components within the DADI motors can be configured to withstand high borehole temperatures.

A combination of the DADI motor and air hammer should be an ideal solution for high temperature and hard rock geothermal drilling applications.

Mining and Construction

Our DADI motor and air hammer combination has proven to be useful in underground mining.

For instance, a client required the redirection of a utility hole from a surface location to an underground room over 1000' below the surface that was not situated directly beneath the original site.

The entry into the room involved only our tools and air, not a hole full of drilling mud.

Our ability to steer a borehole through extremely hard rock made that possible when other solutions our client tried failed.
